Shipping policy

We always welcome any comments about the European tools brands. Sometimes things happen.

We stand by our brands and support the warranty on any of our garden tools. However, we do not do refunds or returns for damaged items due to misuse.

Misuse includes;

  • Using a tool in the wrong manner that it was designed for.
  • For example. If you try to use the timber handles as crowbars in hard clay soil, they will break.
  • Pushing rakes through chippers. Since they are made from plastic they can be chipped. Beware the steel frame.
  • Incorrect instalment of handles into products.
  • Leaving garden tools out in the weather for many years, (This is considered neglect)

While the Dewit Boron steel is very tough, under certain conditions it is possible to snap off a tine or break a point. Particularly,  if you hit other steel.

All damaged items need to be photographed and sent to us for review. MMS is ideal to 0458047132 

If any item is damaged due to manufacturing techniques the lifetime guarantee still applies. We recommend you collect your return from one of our retail outlets.

Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

We use Australia Post for shipping items to our customers and sometimes there are potential delays due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems that are outside of our control.

 

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our Factory Shop. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 5 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Our in-store pickup hours are 9 to 5 on Monday and Tuesday Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come. 

 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at europeantoolsaus@gmail.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

 

Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges

We accept returns up to 10 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at europeantoolsaus@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
